A presentation on a topic relating to one of the key weekly topics from the Social Science and Global Studies part of the course.
You should refer to relevant concepts and evidence and each member of the group will be expected to directly refer to at least one relevant academic source, meaning books or e-books from academic sources (for example, Oxford University Press), or academic journals, which may include textbooks. You may use power-point or other compatible presentational software or other visual aids.
You should aim to speak for 3 minutes each. You should speak for no more than 4 minutes. You must be prepared to answer questions about your topic from the tutor at the end.
Students will be graded individually. The presentation will be delivered to your entire seminar group and tutor. It will be assessed according to the assessment criteria you have and will be filmed by your tutor.
The precise times and dates of the presentation will be indicated by your tutor.
