Part 2: Short Answer Responses
In the second part of the project, you will provide background information about why the target health
behavior is underutilized in this population and establish the importance of addressing the inequity by
proposing your own intervention. The purpose of this assignment is to help you plan your proposal by
setting up the information that will go into Part 3. Follow the instructions below:
a. Answer the prompts in the Part 2 assignment. Part 2 will ask you to apply your knowledge of
textbook concepts to conceptualize the research findings in the you selected article.
Remember, the idea behind this part is to help you start planning the behavior change
intervention that you will propose in the infographic for Part 3. Thus, it will benefit you to use
part 2 to identify and plan for the important pieces of information that can be incorporated in
your part 3.
b. ONLY use the ‘Final Project Part 2’ word document that is posted on D2L. You do not need to
write your answers in a paper or essay format, the short responses will do. More information
on the requirements for the short responses are found in the template.
c. The short responses should be written in APA format (including in-text citations when you cite
from the article and textbook).
d. Once you’ve finished the assignment, submit your Part 2 assignment document to the
