Prior to beginning Phase 2 of your project, make corrections to your Phase 1 based on feedback from the instructor and new insights since your original submission. Add your corrected Phase 1 to this week’s project submission. This means will you be submitting the corrected Phase 1 and the new Phase 2 content.
The requirements for Phase 2 of your course project are as follows:
Hard drive(s):
The hard drive(s) must be of sufficient size to meet the computer’s intended use.
As in the previous phase, analyze the specifications of these components and include your analysis in your report. For example, “Why did you choose this specific component?” What stood out to you (price, specifications, etc.)?
You may indicate the brand, model number, and key specifications such as spindle speed, access time, amount of cache (RAM on the hard drive), and price for each component, but this must have references.
Graphics Card:
The video graphics expansion board (if desired) must exceed the capabilities of the onboard graphics of the motherboard. Whether you choose to purchase a graphics card or not, provide the rationale for this decision.
If chosen, list the specifications (including types of video output such as VGA, DVI, HDMI, Display Port, etc.), the source, and the price, but if included, this must be referenced.
